Not Everyone Can Use a VAST Trail
Riding on private lands is a privilege. Landowners have the right to allow who they want on their properties. So if a landowner only wants snowmobiles and not skiers, fat bikes, etc. on their property, they are allowed to do so.
If you are reading this and you are not a snowmobiler and you would like to do a different activity on a private landowners land using a VAST trail, you must gain your own permission to do so in writing and carry it on your person. On State and Federal lands multi use is allowed, with some restrictions. So know before you go.
Our trail conditions have been updated! Trails are open, ride with caution, as there is limited snow coverage.
